The book describes on page 88 that Owen Brown led a group of 800 Ohio abolitionist and 2700 blacks bursting into Kentucky to free the states slaves. It states that Owen and his group was obliterated and that Owen was hanged along with 27 other officers. Internet sources make no such mention and state that he died of pneumonia. Wondering what is correct?
